2. Permitted Use
Users of The Balkan Adventures may only use the platform for its intended purpose: booking and selling legitimate tourist services. This includes guided tours, accommodations, travel experiences, and other legally permissible tourism-related activities.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in the following activities when using The Balkan Adventures:
- Selling, advertising, or facilitating any illegal, fraudulent, or misleading services.
- Engaging in money laundering, fraudulent transactions, or any activity that violates PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- Posting content that is defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Using the platform for unauthorized reselling, third-party brokering, or circumventing platform fees.
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the platform’s functionality.
- Violating any EU consumer protection laws, GDPR, or relevant tourism industry regulations.
- Engaging in prohibited activities as outlined in The Balkan Adventures’ Terms of Use, such as submitting fraudulent reviews, spamming, or infringing intellectual property rights.
4. User Responsibilities
- Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of services, honor confirmed bookings, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection and data privacy standards.
- Buyers must ensure they meet age and eligibility requirements (18+) before making purchases and must provide truthful and lawful payment information.
- Users agree not to misuse the platform, including but not limited to creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or evade restrictions.
5. Payment and Transactions
- All payments are processed through PayPal and comply with their policies.
- Chargebacks, refunds, and cancellations must follow the terms outlined in the platform’s policies.
- Users acknowledge that The Balkan Adventures is not responsible for the acts, errors, or policies of third-party service providers.
6. Compliance with Laws
All users must comply with EU laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), consumer rights directives, and local tourism regulations.
7. Enforcement and Penalties
- Violation of this AUP may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of user accounts.
- Serious violations may lead to legal action or reporting to authorities.
- PayPal may restrict or terminate payment services for non-compliant users.
- The Balkan Adventures reserves the right to remove content or cancel transactions that violate these policies.
8. Amendments and Updates
The Balkan Adventures reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes.
